Communications Intern

 

Location: Remote

Duration: 3-6 months

​

Hours: 15-30 hours per week (Flexible)

Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and creative individual to join our team as a Communications Intern. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in building and enhancing our organization's brand, website, and social media presence. You will have the opportunity to contribute to various communication initiatives including drafting social media and blog posts, creating communications guides, and assisting in the development of our digital media strategy.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in building and maintaining the organization's brand identity.

  • Contribute to the management of the organization's website.

  • Develop engaging content for social media platforms and assist in managing social media accounts.

  • Draft blog posts and articles on relevant topics related to our mission and activities.

  • Prepare communications guides to ensure consistency in messaging across various channels.

  • Collaborate with team members to develop and implement digital media strategies to reach our target audiences effectively.

Requirements:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proficiency in social media platforms and content management systems.

  • Creativity and a keen eye for design.

  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a remote team environment.

  • Passion for legal access equity, nonprofit organizations, social impact, and community development.

  • Prior experience in communications, marketing, or related fields is a plus but not required.
